I’m the heart behind Luz y Vida, where I specialize in creating timeless portraits that celebrate the people and connections you cherish most. My journey with photography began in 2013, the moment I walked into my high school photojournalism class. What started as learning the art of storytelling, grew into a lifelong passion for creating authentic art through portraiture.

For the past five years, I honed my craft working with my mentor Jennifer Lindberg, at her acclaimed black-and-white portrait studio known for its artistic and timeless approach. There, I discovered the beauty of studio portraiture—the ability to capture not just what someone looks like but who they are.

Mérida, with its vibrant culture and warm community, has become the perfect place to call home and create.
